OVERVIEW http://www.weebly.com/weebly/apps/readDraft.php?draftId=536632702961984161&userId=6396112
This App uses paired devices: a controller and a speaker(or speakers). It lets a user to perform a trick of voice or spirit in a distant dark; one can animate an object or order a pet (animal) around.
A user touches the controller which sends the orders to the speaker. Touching the controler's screen specifies which predefined reaction (sound or speech) to perform. The order is parsed to the speaker devices via bluetooth, sms or wifi [server (get, post)]
REAL TIME CONTROLLING
The reactions are assigned to touchable buttons. Buttons are organized in a square grid which is at least partially visible on the controller's screen. Each button is adjancent to at least one other neighbouring button (reaction). Reactions may be coppied to more than one button.
Touch mode: Touching of the button's names in the grid(map) sends an order to the speaker device to speak the chosen reaction, 2 finger swiping or side scrolling gives access to the buttons that were not visible on the larger grids or smaller screens.
Swipe mode: For the case when a user would not like to see the screen they can controll by swiping. Here the controlling interface=screen would hold just one button (the grid is on the maximum zoom) and a swiping gesture (left, right, up, down, LU, LD, RU, RD) would navigate to neighbouring buttons=reactions in the same direction as is organized on the grid.
SETTING OF REACTIONS
Content: The reactions are user defined or their sets are predefined. In the latter case they are bought...
Form of User defined reactions: User writes the message/reaction, gives it a name and assignes it to a grid creating a button. This is repeated with the next message/reaction. When the last button is being created, user decides to reorganize them (cut, copy, paste) on the grid creating a linked map. Some sets of linked buttons may be grouped and given order numbers + a name creating so the reactions' routine (a routine pathway) which is assignable to a grid position. The reactions are read by an automated voice of choice. The downloaded-paid reactions sets i.e. pranks may be texts or prerecorded mp3s.
IN APP PURCHASE OF PREDEFINED REACTIONS' SETS (PRANKS)
The prank fields to buy would include: a spirit of a famous dead person speaking; famous puppet tales; santa Claus speaks(US), Baby Jesus -christmas tree speaks(EU); the will of spirit world; party cake reactions to cuts; do not touch me (fridge speaks); exercise equipment speaks; animal sounds, speaking toilet, blind man bluff's like; speaking scales; manequin speaks, feed me (or us for fish), etc. The fields are many, some wait to be discovered some will wither away.. the inspiration can be gathered via crowdsourcing from the EARLY, 1st users who are submitting their orders=content using the server.
SILLY GAMIFICATION
There may be a random button that would send a random sentence from Internet
2 ALTERNATIVE USAGES (APPS):
1)"Distant whisper". An auxiliary app for people who for some reason (perhaps handicaps) would perform speaking over some distance yet without being loud. E.g.this may whisper in dog's ear [the speaker device attached to the pet] helping mute people with a dog that is trained to follow verbal orders. Like 'come back!!'
2)"Follow it to make it". 'Magic pill' tutorials creating app. The user is in a challenging environment and his mentor (wing, therapeut or trainer) is observing the situation and driving the proper reactions of the user by offering prepared reactions or their groups (routine pathways) so that the subject is only following them by parroting aloud what he or she hears...
One can learn, internalize or improve probably any skill that is based in verbalization: likes of flirting, languages, phobias tackling or confidence boost via affirmations before a performance. The difference between a situation when the mentor is instructing directly by speaking is in the rigidness and preparation. The mentor must use reactions from the scenario they prepared i.e. can not freely improvise and thus a) helps subject to memorize the reactions ['magic pill' tutorial effect] b) creates a more general blueprint for further similar usages conveying his genius by the simple and followable written steps rather than by empathy or muscular memory stimuli. With the scenarios/reactions prepared, anyone can learn to become a mentor for a given situation.
